What We Do
We start with a customer. A problem. A need. We embrace challenges together to help each customer capture every opportunity to do what they do, better.
Cannon Equipment designs, engineers, and manufactures custom material handling carts, equipment, conveyance, and aftermarket parts, keeping the customer at the center of everything we do.
We design custom solutions for your business, positioning you to safely increase efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve your operations to bring genuine value to your organization.
–Robyn Walker, President
Cannon Falls, Minnesota is our home and it has been for over 60 years. We are proud of our history and we embrace our role in the local community. We have become one of the area’s largest employers – and we’re still growing!
In 2014, Cannon Equipment was acquired by Marmon Holdings, a division of the Berkshire Hathaway Company. Marmon is a global, diversified organization of manufacturing and service businesses that vary in geography and culture – with operations in big cities and small towns across the globe – and in their products, services, and markets.
This partnership provides extensive value to our customers. Marmon’s strong financial position and access to capital enables our business to grow strategically via innovation, internal investment, and acquisition while experiencing the service and agility of a small business.
Giving Back to Our Community and to Our Customers
Here are just some of the ways Cannon Equipment gives back:
Employees regularly contribute time and money to many local nonprofits, including Meals on Wheels. Employees also unload food trucks at the local food bank, pack backpacks for students in need, and serve in the Chamber of Commerce.
We are proud to participate in the causes that matter to our customers and their communities. The team regularly participates in annual charity events, service projects, and fundraisers to do our part for those in need.
We also support our customers when they need it most. When customers have been faced with natural disasters, the Cannon Equipment team provided parts and generators that kept their operations moving.
