Our Roots

Cannon Falls, Minnesota is our home and it has been for over 60 years. We are proud of our history and we embrace our role in the local community. We have become one of the area’s largest employers – and we’re still growing!

In 2014, Cannon Equipment was acquired by Marmon Holdings, a division of the Berkshire Hathaway Company. Marmon is a global, diversified organization of manufacturing and service businesses that vary in geography and culture—with operations in big cities and small towns across the globe—and in their products, services, and markets.

Giving Back to Our Community and to Our Customers

Employee Giving
Employees regularly contribute time and money to many local nonprofits, including Meals on Wheels, unloading food trucks at the local food bank, packing backpacks for students in need, and serving in the Chamber of Commerce.

Customer Causes
We are proud to participate in the causes that matter to our customers and their communities. The team regularly participates in annual charity events, service projects, and fundraisers to do our part for those in need.

Natural Disasters
We also support our customers when they need it most. When customers have been faced with natural disasters, the Cannon Equipment team provides parts and generators that keep their operations moving.
