Cannon Equipment, a division of IMI located in Cannon Falls MN, has an immediate opening for a Key Account Customer Care Representative in our Customer Care Department. The responsibilities for this position include:
- Communicates with assigned Key Account customers by phone and/or email concerning quotes, orders (current & history), returns, shipments, products, and billing.
- Provides quotes for standard and custom products per established customer service department policy and procedures.
- Processes customer purchase orders ensuring prices are accurate with company-established margins and in compliance with distributor contracts.
- Initiates orders for replacements parts and/or for correcting errors (shortages, wrong item shipped, damage, etc.).
- Initiates file maintenance for corrections to customer profile.
- Determines changes for service and products requested and completes corresponding forms to have changes completed.
- Solicits sale of new or additional products and services.
- Handles irate customers in a professional manner.
- Processes Credit Memos, Return Authorizations (including price adjustments) and handles warranty related issues.
- Oversees projects associated with assigned Key Accounts, including but not limited to new development, account management, internal and external communication, support and maintenance issues.
- Collaborates with development, marketing, support and account management to ensure the successful launch and acceptable performance of solutions.

Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of experience working in a customer care capacity.
Other Skills and Abilities include:
- Strong PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Strong Internet and Email capabilities
- Self-starter, a high degree of self motivation and initiative
- Positive and professional image and ability to work with all levels of employees and management
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under periodic pressure with self-control to meet multiple commitments, schedules and deadlines
